Moriah House is part of the My-Care Group and is situated in the heart of the Nottingham suburb of Carlton, less than two miles from the centre of the city, with all its shops and amenities.

Since 1980 it has offered its residents high-quality care and accommodation in a warm and relaxed setting.

The home provides accommodation for those who still wish to be independent as well as those who may need a little more attention and looking after.

Anyone who has ever visited Moriah House will tell you that it is one of the happiest homes they have been in.

The manager and all the staff work really hard to create an environment where residents can enjoy life to the full, and become part of the strong community atmosphere that makes the home a special place.

An opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our friendly team of staff at Moriah House, working predominantly weekdays with an occasional evening or weekend based around social activities for our Residents.


Duties will include:

  • Assisting the Home Manager with all administrative tasks to ensure the safe and efficient running of the Home
  • Taking responsibility for petty cash, invoices, purchase orders and banking
  • Communicating with Healthcare Professionals, Regulators, friends and families, Contractors and enquirers when required
  • Arranging meetings, taking and recording minutes
  • Dealing with telephone calls
  • Ensuring that all Departments have adequate supplies to enable them to function fully
  • Providing support to our residents and their families throughout their stay with us

This role requires you to have an Enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references as a condition of employment. An on-line transferable DBS is accepted.
