Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for a Sales & Marketing Operations Executive to join an exciting client of ours in the Fin-Tech sector.

As the Sales & Marketing Operations Executive, you'll focus on the customer journey from prospect to advocate, driving a more collaborative culture, accountability, and trust across departments, with the aim to shorten sales cycles, increase win rates and dealsizes, increase existing customer satisfaction and spend - all of which align with the growth strategy.


Responsibilities as the Sales & Marketing Operations Executive:

  • Supporting operational cadence across the sales teams
  • ensuring consistency across forecasting, pipeline reviews etc.
  • Ensuring weekly, monthly, quarterly analytics provide business insights for the Senior Leadership team.
  • Comfortable with numbers and drawing insights from analytics to adapt and improve business processes and provide accurate and timely management information, to include activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI's.
  • Lead the annual sales planning process including territory design, account segmentation, quota setting, headcount management, commission plans and account ownership transition facilitation.
  • Support the Sales Leadership Team and Head of Sales with ongoing initiatives, call out days and scheduling of training and development.
  • You will work in close partnership with crossfunctional stakeholders in Product, Marketing, Implementation & Customer Success to improve process, systems, tooling, and knowledge.
  • As a skilled, dynamic, and determined individual you'll possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. You'll have impressive interpersonal skills that allow you to develop long lasting relationships with colleagues and partners.
  • You will play a crucial role in the business development process and will work closely with the sales teams (Account Management, New Business & Partner/Channel) proactively managing 'opportunity creation' metrics which are used as a leading indicator forsuccess.
  • Ensure the delivery of consistent highquality reporting across all sales and lead generation channels to provide visibility and helping to inform on trends and future investments.
Required Skills as an Sales & Marketing Operations Executive:

  • Experience in a sales operation's role, or related (Sales, Program Management, Finance, Consulting, Corporate Strategy).
  • Prior experience with a fastgrowth, SaaS / tech company is highly preferred.
  • A good understanding of Sales, Marketing, and the sales process.
  • Understanding of the sales methodology, MEDDICC would be useful, but training will be provided.
  • HubSpot Admin skills
  • Salesforce, PowerBI, Refract, Cognism, Sales LinkedIn Navigator, Lusha or RingCentral would be beneficial, but training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with all aspects of business planning and sales execution.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud gotomarket models, market expansion strategies, and sales support models.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with board and sales leadership.
  • Proven ability to support business process design and improvement initiatives, automate operational tasks, and prioritize time for high business impact activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and drive initiatives in a crossfunctional environment. Ability to adjust on the fly to new demands with a sense of urgency
  • Be highly productive with mínimal oversight from senior management. Sets goals and drives to fulfilment, taking responsibility for actions and outcomes.
  • Organizationally savvy appropriately assertive, yet cool and respectful.
