Procurement and Stock Controller.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Raising / creating purchase orders both backtoback and strategic, including production/works orders.
  • Managing stock control using systems and reports including; setting up and maintaining min/max levels, EOQ, reorder levels etc.
  • Maintain and development existing/new supplier relationships.
  • Take an active involvement and lead in pricing negotiations.
  • Maintaining systembased delivery data/ Expediting orders.
  • Disseminating relevant procurement and inventory related information/issues to the wider company (supply issues, price increase, late deliveries etc)
  • Controlling suppliers for both service and product supply, to both comply with our current QMS and the needs of the business.
  • Manage suppliers where their KPI is below current performance targets, as assessed by our vendor rating/monitoring methods (suppliers OTD and product conformity).
  • Control processes relating to the creation of new parts.
  • Updating the system with current supplier pricing/EOQ/expected lead time data etc., when applicable.
  • Coordinator scrap/out of life stock. Keeping it to a minimum, maintaining a high stock turn and where short shelf life/potential scrap stock has been identified, inform sales so a discounted sales drive can be initiated.
  • Stock adjustments / depot transfers, where applicable.
  • Assisting with purchase invoice queries
  • Providing customer services and Sales personnel with accurate cost pricing.
  • Completing vendor approval forma and maintaining supplier records.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week


Salary:
£10,000.00-£11,000.00 per year
