The Home
Cairnmartin Care Home situated in Belfast. Nursing home with maximum of 31 Service Users. Located in Belfast, this modern care home supports people living with dementia, who require residential or nursing care.


The dementia care services are split across two floors providing residential care on the ground floor,and nursing care on the first floor.

Both floors offer en-suite bedrooms,planned daily activities and fresh home cooked food. All residents can also access and enjoy a range of facilities.


The Role
Required to co-ordinate and organise all social and recreational activity.

To plan, implement and evaluate social activities across the home in order to improve mental and emotional well being and quality of life of residents.


Main Responsibilities:

Prepare, plan, and deliver recreational and occupational activities.

Ensure effective and timely record keeping.

Contribute to surveys, audit and clinical research projects assisting with collection, analysis, and presentation of data.

Observe and monitors the wellbeing of residents.


You will need:

to be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with a good standard of English

experience gained within an elderly care environment

to be able to creatively plan activities to meet the needs of service users

to liaise with external educational, vocational and leisure activity providers to expand the range of activities available
