We are currently seeking an experienced IT Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team.
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality project delivery services to both internal and external clients, supporting the acquisition of new business and the successful delivery of work packages and small projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the delivery of assigned projects or activities, ensuring adherence to agreed time, quality, scope, and cost parameters.
- Follow documented delivery, approval, and acceptance processes.
- Monitor and report on the project's budget, expenditure, and costs against delivered components and outcomes.
- Plan the project and actively monitor its progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as necessary.
- Collaborate with the Resource Management team to appoint individuals to project teams.
- Ensure the delivery of new products or services meets quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints in accordance with the project plan and governance arrangements.
- Manage thirdparty contributions to the project, as required.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders.
- Manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies to ensure the project's successful outcome.
- Report project progress regularly to internal and external governance bodies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project coordination or management, preferably in an IT environment.
- Strong organizational and timemanagement skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and best practices.
- Experience working with crossfunctional teams.
- Knowledge of risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are desirable but not essential.
