Lloyd Recruitment Services are pleased to be working with a leading business in the Edenbridge area who are currently in search of a Business Development Manager.

Our ideal Business Development Manager will have an in-depth knowledge and experience with the sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and closing deals.

We are seeking a quick learner with strong negotiating skills, and someone with a track record of success.

As a BDM you will:

Represent the company, with a comprehensive understanding of the offerings
Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services or new ways of reaching existing markets
Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
Achieve company objectives through effective planning
Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
Maintain professional and technical knowledge of our products and services
Liaise with the finance team, projects, design, and operations as appropriate
Create a sales pipeline
Draw up customer contracts
Meet with potential clients and grow longlasting relationships by understanding their needs
Track, analyse and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends
Provide management with feedback from customers

Essential:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Commercially and contractually aware
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent knowledge of MS Office and outlook
Excellent customer service
Must be able to work on own initiative and work well within a team
Flexible approach to adapt to changing needs of the company and customers
Results orientated with strong analytical skills
Understanding of CRM systems and best practices
