Operations Assistant (Contractor-Inside IR35)

Description:


Job Purpose


To act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers and to undertake a range of other administration tasks as identified by the Senior Operations Manager.

  • Must be highly flexible and be prepared to deal with emergency requests
  • Must have strong Microsoft office skills
  • Driving Licence essential
  • Must have previous Reception / Administration experience
  • Must be smartly dressed at all times

Main Duties and Responsibilities
To perform full reception / administrative duties, to include but not limited to;

  • Greet and welcome visitors to the office, ensuring they sign in the visitor's book and informing the relevant member of staff of their arrival.
  • Managing the visitor's book.
  • Processing weekly lunch order booking system.
  • Managing logistics both inbound and outbound (UK & EU only).
  • Providing refreshments for visitors and attendees during meetings.
  • To ensure that the reception and meeting room areas always remain tidy and project a businesslike image.
  • To perform stock checks for stationery, workwear and general supplies (e.g. kitchen sundries).
  • Driving Licence management.
  • Organising meeting rooms.
  • Pool car bookings.
  • Parkside tenant issues capture/monitor (with Senior Operations Managers assistance).
  • Post distribution.
  • To provide backup cover for the Administration Team, when required;
  • Booking transport and travel, hotels.
  • Checking stationery and kitchen supplies.
  • Event support.
  • Various clerical work.
  • To provide support with additional adhoc administrative duties as and when required by the Operations Team.

Other Features of job

  • Fulltime, 34.5hrs per week, Monday to Thursday 9:00 17:00, Friday 9:00 14:00
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK

Package:
Competitive rate, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Temporary contract

Contract length: 12 months


Pay:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
