Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Semi Senior Accounts Clerk to join our clients accountancy practice in Newton Abbot on a permanent contract.


Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of sole traders and partnership accountsPreparation of limited company statutory financial statements from source records
Preparation and submission of VAT returns when required

Preparing corporation tax computation calculations and basic tax planning

Liaising with clients, answering queries and providing relevant information where required

Performance of tasks in an organized, accurate and timely manner

Providing assistance to trainees


About you:


  • AAT Level 4 or equivalent with 4 years practice experienceKnowledge of accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or Xero
Accounts production software such as CCH desirable but not essential

Ability to show initiative and work well within a team

Ability to build good client relationships

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational skills and ability to manage own workload
