Fabricator Welder
With continued growth and developing contracts, our the client is looking to add to their team by employing a Fabricator/ Welder.
The role
Work in the fabrication workshop to manufacture a range of bespoke products from sheet metal and steel, working from supplied fabrication drawings.
- Reliable and hard working
- Team player with the ability to work on own initiative
- Work safely to current health and safety regulations, Company Risk Assessments, Safe Working Procedures and Factory Production System
- Be able to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- MIG / TIG welding to a high standard
- Experienced in manufacturing bespoke equipment (silos, conveyors (all types), cyclones, elevators, transitions, ladders and stairs)
- Able to operate handheld tools such as a grinder, welder, nut runner, plasma cutter
- Experience using equipment such as: press brake, guillotine, rollers, punch, bandsaw, and overhead crane
- An apprentice trained or experienced Fabricator.
- As a Fabricator you will need to be able to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Previous experience of fabricating on light, medium and heavy equipment.
- Have knowledge of design techniques and the principals involved in production of precision technical plans and drawings.
- Capable of performing careful and precise welding operations, held to high standards, tolerance and inspection processes.

- Overtime after 40 hours per week
- 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri) (overtime at time and a half), permanent
