Description

Responsibilities of the Music ECT:

Design and deliver captivating lessons that challenge and inspire secondary students to excel
Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining comprehensive records of academic performance
Establish a safe and supportive learning environment conducive to student success
Collaborate with school management, fellow educators, and parents to provide effective academic support
Participate in school activities such as events, performances, and parentteacher meetings
Adhere to safeguarding policies and prioritize the welfare of all students
Implement effective classroom management strategies to maintain order and safety

Requirements for the Music ECT:

QTS or equivalent qualification
Degree in a relevant field, ideally with a specialization in Music
Recognized teaching qualification, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate learners
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with stakeholders
Adaptability in teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles
Passion for teaching and making a positive impact on students' lives

Salary Details:
The salary for this Music ECT position will be commensurate with experience, following the MPS/UPS pay scale.
