Kipling Lions Preschool is a small preschool, a not for profit charity.

We have been providing quality care and preschool education to the community of Woodingdean for 30 years.

Our team of practitioners pride themselves on an inclusive setting and their expertise in supporting all children including those with challenges.

We provide weekday childcare for 49 weeks a year between 8.00 am and 5.00pm with a friendly team including several long-serving staff and apprentices, all permanent staff.

Our standards are high (Ofsted:
good) and continuous staff training and support is crucial to maintain these.

We are looking for:
A level 2/3 qualified practitioner, including 1-1 support.

The vacancy is for hours a week for 49 weeks a year. Hours will be between 7.50am and 5pm


Criteria:

• Be hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
• An Early Years qualification at Level 2 or Level 3, (this is essential for this position)
• SEN experience
• Able to take on a group of key children.
• An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); knowledge of child protection procedures and safeguarding; and good communication skills both written and verbal are essential for this role.
• Flexible and willing to work more hours.
• Holiday is 5.6 weeks a year pro rata, including two weeks at Christmas and one week at Easter and all bank holidays if this is your normal working day.
