The Opportunity

  • We have an exciting opportunity for a UX / Market Researcher to join our Research team. A team that is pivotal in identifying opportunities for growth and value to the Moonpig Group, and ensuring our products meet the needs of our customers.
You will specialise on briefs from the

Marketing,

Commercial and

Product teams. Your stakeholders could be Head of Cards, Head of Gifts, Head of Brand or Head of Marketing. But at the very core of Moonpig is the digital experience and so UX and Product, will play a big part in this role.


This is a hybrid role based either in our London Head Office or Manchester Hub 1-2 days a week (or more if you'd rather).


Your Responsibilities:


  • Support the Research Manager build a strong research position across the business, to inform wider organisational strategy
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple departments (such as marketing, product and operations) to drive action from your learnings
  • Lead on briefs, turning business and user problems into research plans, and undertake the research; from fieldwork through to analysis and delivery of insights & action plans
  • Turn research findings into stories and actions that lead to valuable product and service development, by incorporating trends, data and customer feedback into your research
  • Manage and prioritise your research projects in line with companywide roadmaps, and strategy
  • Coach and upskill the Research and UX Design team passing on your expertise in research best practices and methodologies, to facilitate research across the business
  • Act as an advocate of the customer, and serve as an influencer in the business.
  • Identify unmet needs, and present opportunities to the business stand up and shout about customer needs with evidence to back you up

You'll be a great addition to the team if you:

  • have experience leading research in a similar role (with some exposure to international markets)
  • Are strong at designing engaging, unbiased surveys and qualitative guides
  • Have excellent data analysis skills (excel/SQL/SPSS etc) and are very comfortable bringing large sets of data together
  • Have an understanding of or experience of working in an agile environment speed and quality is at the forefront of what you do
  • Have experience running remote, asynchronous testing on a platform such as Usertesting (if not, then diary studies, online communities etc)
  • Are comfortable taking the lead and love to be creative with developing new ways to deliver research in engaging ways
  • A genuine passion for portraying the perspective of users in order to solve their real challenges and ensure our products meet their needs
  • Good at building relationships, breaking barriers and bringing groups together to collaborate on ideation
