Motor Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester - Hull
Our client, a FANTASTIC employer, is looking to recruit experienced Motor Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester (Although MOT Tester licence is not essential as training will be provided)

The Role


The Vehicle Technician is a key role within their aftersales function ensuring customer satisfaction in the service and repair of motor vehicles of all types.


You will have a flair for working directly with customers and need to be confident in liaising with customers to give the very best recommendation for the vehicle and business needs.


Responsibilities:


As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out the service and maintenance on a range of vehicles, all whilst delivering the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.

Ideally you will have your MOT Testing licence but this not essential as training will be provided

As a Vehicle Technician, you will be required to: Carry out minor to major mechanical repairs

  • Carry out MOT Tests following strict guidelines
  • Be competent in using diagnostic equipment
  • Able to diagnose SRS and ABS systems
  • Able to interpret and complete paperwork
  • Confidently discuss issues with customers
  • Have a friendly and good telephone manner
  • Be approachable for our customers
The Person

You must possess a relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3/4

You must possess your own full set of Tools

A MASSIVE opportunity for the right person to join a great company


Working hours/days:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5pm

Saturday: 8am to 12:30pm on a rota (1 in 3)


Salary:

£31k basic

£34k +++++ OTE and uncapped, guys all earning MUCH more

GREAT company benefits along with 22 days holiday + bank holidays + overtime available
