Job Overview:


This role will involve all aspects of responsive property as well as planned maintenance across MOJ portfolio supported accommodation programmes in
Nottinghamshire and surroundings (mainly Nottingham).

You may also be required to carry out some cleaning in empty properties.


Responsibilities & Duties:


  • Carry out scheduled work on void properties to bring back up to standard
  • Carry out reactive maintenance within the THN timescales
  • Painting
  • Basic Plumbing (including changing toilet internals)
  • Basic carpentry including door hanging (
    Essential)
  • Lock changing (
    Essential)
  • Gardening including fencing
  • Bathrooms and kitchen repairs (including changing taps)
  • Repairing/replacing broken windows
  • Diagnosing boiler repairs
  • Furniture / Rubbish removals
  • Put up curtain poles/blinds
  • Reporting Health & Safety incidents
  • Cleaning (desirable)
  • Problem solving

Personal Characteristics:

Skills_

  • Essential_
  • Basic carpentry including door hanging
  • Lock changing
  • Basic knowledge of electrics
  • Previous experience as a maintenance operative in a multisite environment
  • Basic knowledge of gas boilers and electric heating systems
  • Driving license
  • Desirable_
  • Cleaning experience
  • Ability to replace double/single glazed units
  • Qualified PAT tester
  • Knowledge of Fire Safety Legislation
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation
  • Corgi registered

Package:
£30,000 per annum + company car, fuel card, expense card, 21 days holidays + bank holidays, social events and initiatives.


Working Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9am pm
