As a Client Relations and Furniture Sourcing Specialist, you'll be at the heart of our marketplace, ensuring we offer an unparalleled selection of furniture.

In our small dynamic team we treasure your energy and ideas. With a proactive mindset and a readiness to get stuck in, you'll find that every day is different. Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to the key tasks outlined below.

  • Furniture Sourcing: Implementing the sourcing strategy across a wide range of channels (Inbound lead conversion, Auctions, Events and Industry)
  • Evaluate consigned furniture: Quickly assess the value, condition, and historical significance of each unique piece.
  • Manage seller relationships: Build trust and rapport with consignors by providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth and transparent luxury experience.
  • Negotiation: including pricing, and consignment duration, to secure a diverse and highquality range of furniture pieces.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with merchandising and customer service departments to streamline listing processes, address product inquiries, and contribute to a seamless sales cycle.
  • Inventory management: Maintain accurate inventory records, including SKU creation, stock level monitoring, and implementing strategic pricing adjustments to maximise sales and achieve company goals.
  • Exceptional customer support: Gather valuable feedback from consignors and foster lasting relationships to ensure continued partnerships.
  • Market trends: Actively research and stay abreast of current trends in the preowned designer furniture market to inform buying and pricing strategies.
  • Network and industry connections: Attend industry events and actively network to discover new sourcing opportunities and solidify our presence in the market.

What we're looking for

  • A genuine passion for the furniture/interior design industry or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working in eCommerce
  • Strong understanding of furniture styles, trends, and historical significance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Network of interior design contacts is highly desirable
  • Strong and confident negotiation skills
  • Highly organised and detailoriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and comfortable using various digital tools.
