Description

We are seeking an Export Coordinator for our client, a specialist Logistics Company based in Birmingham.

Your role as the Export Coordinator will be to handle all Export shipments on a start-to-finish basis, dealing with shipments via Air, Road, Sea and courier.

Other duties of the Export Coordinator will include:

Liaise with clients and export shippers to discuss the requirements of shipments
Discuss the positioning ad release of containers and vessel space with carriers and haulier on a daily basis
Creating bill of lading instructions then sending off to shipping lines
Arrange customs formalities
Dealing with the payment of supplier invoices
Raising client invoices
Arrange solas weighing of containers using CNS and Destin8

The successful Export Coordinator will have good IT skills, with knowledge of Cargowise and CHIEF.
