An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Cardiff Community Learning Disability Team within the Mental Health & Learning Disability Service Group for an enthusiastic, organised and motivated administration assistant.


You will need to possess excellent communication and IT skills in order to undertake this role to a high standard.


The administrative assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Learning Disability community team, arranging meetings, coordinating information, preparation of agendas, minute taking, data entry, requisition requests via ORACLE, generation of daily work list for administration staff and regular routine audits.

The post holder must possess excellent communication and organisational skills and be capable of working on your own initiative. Must also have a flexible approach to work.


To communicate effectively with patients, carers and staff and liaise with other departments to arrange appointments and deal with queries.

To maintain confidentiality at all times and a friendly and approachable manner is essential.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
