WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This will involve ensuring that:

Preseries vehicle build state and maintenance state are known at all times and that good documentation standards are maintained;
Supporting equipment, including vehicle fitted Government Furnished Equipment, is available to meet trials requirements;
There are detailed plans for maintenance, inspections and logistics of the preseries vehicles in place supported by the correct resource types to complete the plan;
Trials processes, specifically around authority to use and platform certification, are followed;
Resources and personnel are available to support the trials;
Reporting on vehicle state and prioritisation of activities where required, in order to meet the trials schedule.

WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE

You must hold a degree in a relevant engineering discipline or have equivalent experience
You must have experience working with tracked armoured vehicles, specifically managing their maintenance.
You must have experience in writing technical reports and presentations e.g. for technical progress meetings.
Experience with the Challenger 2 platform design or operation, or other Armoured Fighting Vehicles, is highly desirable
An understanding of UK Legislation and standards associated with Armoured Vehicle testing
Must hold a Full UK Drivers Licence.
Proficient user of MS Office is essential
