Bringing our 300 staff on this journey together is a key part of that, as is delivering compelling communications to the thousands of DofE leaders and young people involved in DofE.
The Role:
The Senior Communications Officer at the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) will play a crucial role in successfully delivering our Youth Without Limits strategy.
You'll be a confident communicator with excellent organisational skills, sound judgement, excellent writing skills and a passion for making a difference to young people's lives from the moment you start.
What we are looking for:
- A talented, ambitious, organised and proactive communications professional, ready to take your next step.
- You'll ideally have experience of working in a busy communications team, work well under pressure, have a great eye for detail and lots of new ideas.
- You will be experienced in proactively shaping and delivering impactful communications and be wellversed in internal communications approaches and channels.
- You will also understand what it takes to plan and deliver effective engagement, creating opportunities for 2way conversations that bring people together and help build a positive and productive organisational culture.
- You are happy leading projects, as well as collaborating with colleagues at all levels.
- You'll play a key role in delivering important communications about the DofE programme and play a part in helping us develop and improve how we engage everyone involved in DofE.

A starting salary of
between £31,785 - £36,692 per annum dependent on experience.
