Description

Assistant in busy garden centre on outskirts of Lichfield. 4-5 days a week in summer and 3-4 in winter. Possibility of more hours longer term. Weekend work required.
Previous experience working in a garden centre or similar horticultural setting is essential.

Required skills.

Customer service and interaction with customers using your plant knowledge

Ability to use a till and spend a significant amount of time at the till point

Caring and watering plants and putting out/pricing stock

Moving heavy items such as compost bags

Maintenance tasks such as sweeping, hedge cutting with heavy machinery

Licences to drive a fork lift preferred
or ability to train to do this

Enjoy working outside in all weathers
