Morgan McKinley is looking for Finance Business Partner for an exciting, newly created role, for our client based in Oxfordshire who are a well-known brand, with a great reputation.


We are looking for someone who is keen to to have a visable role within a large organisation, to be the main Divisional lead managing both the regulatory aspects and being the main point of contact with the regulators including negotiations and on behalfof the business.

You will add value through the production of detailed and accurate reporting, cost models and anlaysis, working with all the internal teams to improve processes and increase the efficiencies of the end product.

This is a highly commercialrole where you will be able to grow in the postion and organisation.


This role is working with both internal stakeholders as well as clients and 3rd party contacts, working in the Finance Business Partnering team and being the finance lead of the division.


This is a permanent role, offered with bonus, 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays, private healthcare, life assurance and flexible working and more.


Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering you will be tasked with the following:

  • Management of 2 direct reports
  • Build and maintain agile cost models that can be used for costperformance analysis
  • Track financial KPIs to measure performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Work with the business to maintain cost models and forecast the cost of decisions
  • Scenario planning and sensitivity analysis including attrition forecasting and tracking
  • To interpret challenge and question the status quo of the divisional regulations to ensure the team are maximising the opportunities.
  • Survey business processes to identify opportunities and risks within the division.
  • Critically evaluating and challenging the interpretation of the Regulations, clarifications, and model the impact of proposed changes.
  • Inputs into divisional discussions with 3rd party stakeholders and other teams with ways to amend/clarify the regulations to maximise the opportunities.
  • Model the impact of potential changes in regulations particularly looking ahead to the next change in regulations including Cost Analysis and Modelling so the division and teams know what they will be expected to deliver.
  • Interrogate large volumes of data to present metrics and trends that can be easily understood by a stakeholder and provide recommendations

What you will need:


  • Experience in job roles such as Analyst / Finance Analyst / Data Analyst/ finance business Partner/ Audit Senior/ FP&A analyst/ Assistant Finance Business Partne/ Commercial Accountant/ Management Accountant
  • Have supervisory or mentoring experience ready to step up in this management role, or have managed a small team previously.
  • Ideally finalist or qualified ACA or ACCA or CIMA
  • Be analytical and data savvy, strong excel user or used reporting tools previously
  • Strong on excel
  • Ideally Power Bi & Power pivots though this can be taught pivots and lookups are essential and experience of working with high levels of data
  • Strong communicator who can build relationships
  • Be a problem solver who enjoys breaking down a problem and creating the right analysis to help find a solution
  • Able to produce meaning full data to nonfinancial stakeholders using Powerpoint etc
