Working Site Foreman/Woman - UK Wide
T A Knox formed in 1962 is a family run dynamic and innovative interior fit-out company dedicated to transforming spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments.
With a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering high-quality projects, we are seeking a skilled Site Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of interior fit-out projects.
Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop and implement project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgetary considerations.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams, to ensure smooth project progression.
Site Management:
- Supervise and lead onsite construction teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address any issues that may impact project delivery.
- Monitor and manage project schedules, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines.
Resource Management:
- Manage the allocation of resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize efficiency and costeffectiveness.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that workmanship and materials meet or exceed project requirements.
- Conduct inspections and snagging to address any defects and ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the construction phase, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Address client concerns and ensure overall client satisfaction with the completed project.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager in interior fitout construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools for project management.
Salary:
£45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
