Your Role

We are seeking a highly dependable individual to oversee Gensler's payroll operations, ensuring flawless execution that aligns with our business growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within Gensler's Global Payroll team, reporting directly to the EU Payroll Supervisor.


What You Will Do

  • Prepares and processes UK payroll efficiently and accurately, meeting all necessary deadlines.
  • Stays updated on payroll regulations in line with HMRC statutory and tax requirements.
  • Collaborates closely with Human Resources on employee data and compensation matters.
  • Handles retroactive salary adjustments.
  • Conducts regular audits on payroll records to ensure precision and compliance with regulations.
  • Ensures proper documentation and adherence to operational procedures.
  • Collaborates with the accounting team on payroll audits and reports.
  • Generates certified payroll reports as needed.
  • Prepares various management reports, including gross payroll, hours worked, tax deductions, and more.
  • Provides training on self-service tools to employees.
  • Manages compliance with Certified Payroll report filings.
  • Supports internal and external audits.
  • Assists the Payroll Supervisor with assigned tasks.


Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 6+ years of UK payroll experience, proficient in Excel and payroll processes.
  • Excellent communication skills and eagerness to adapt to new tools and techniques.
  • Strong organizational and analytical capabilities.
  • Proficiency in English, with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Workday and TMF Horizon is a plus.
