Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sales & business growth: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Relationship building: Identify and cultivate relationships with key decision makers and technology leaders within target markets and industries. Proactively build and nurture relationships with both prospective customers and market influencers, creating near and longterm opportunities for growth in our areas of expertise
  • Endtoend Sales: Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, ensuring a smooth transition to the delivery team
  • Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted campaigns and materials to support sales efforts.
  • Pipeline: Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers through networking, referrals, and other channels
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and board on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights
  • Partnerships: Work closely with our technical as well as other internal and external delivery partners to identify, pursue and manage opportunities to further expand the volume of leads and opportunities
  • Leadership: Lead and evolve the existing sales team in pursuit of high performance growth
  • Client experience: Be a trusted advisor to our customers, promoting longterm, scalable relationships, and influencing/informing customer strategies and decisions around technology

REQUIREMENTS:


Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in 'hunter' sales with a proven track record of building and converting a large sales pipeline, providing complete transparency to the wider team to enable sustainable growth.
  • Strong ability in master value selling with the ability to adapt to different customer types while proactively mentoring other customer facing team members to ensure customer confidence and trust is retained.
  • Extensive experience in technology
  • A bias for scale ups and SMEs with a clear understanding of and ability to thrive within high pace, agile and rigorous settings, ensuring near to midterm results are achieved while building the capabilities for longterm success.
  • Comfortable working with all levels within a business, from team member (e.g., Software Developer) to C-Suite, with high levels of empathy for their priorities and decisionmaking influencers.
  • Committed to the longterm plan to scale the business with a willingness and appetite to rapidly pursue early gains while contributing to the longterm strategy.
  • A passion for self and team development to continually enhance skills and increase the capacity for growth, together with the commitment to uphold our principles, collaborate proactively, and engage in healthy challenge/conflict to drive the best decisions and outcomes for the business.
