Description

To carry out audit responsibilities to ensure the Company is fully compliant with Customer, BRC, and Legislative requirements for good food/drinks manufacturing and production.

To ensure Blends meet Customer Specification requirements. To supervise the day-to-day management of Quality Control staff to ensure they are carrying out their role competently.

Create blends
Weekly fruit planning and ordering
Fruit stock control and reconciliation
Supplier contact for delivery issues and alterations
Inspection and monitoring of fruit quality and extraction quality performance
Maintain citrus supplier certifications / citrus bible / citrus supply chain maps
Supervise & coordinate daytoday activities of the QC team, including management of the rota, HR and H&S related issues
Coaching QC team by establishing suitable goals, action plans and timelines and providing regular performance feedback.
Ensuring new staff are orientated into the Company and training plans are developed with the QC team to ensure employees have the necessary expertise to carry out their job
Organise cover for holidays, weekends, sickness and training
Complete all customer specifications, technical queries & questionnaires
Complete all raw material and packaging specifications
Supplier approval
Raw material and packaging risk assessment and approval
Supply chain mapping
Assist with 3rd party audits, including traceability and supplier approval
GMP and hygiene auditing, including close out of nonconformances
Assist with system and customer audit corrective actions
Daily product quality issue management
Investigation of batch rejections and complaints/withdrawals. Manage completion of root cause analysis
Manage internal on hold log and nonconformances
Manage supplier non conformances
Laboratory consumables stock control and ordering
Manage equipment calibrations and service contracts

HACCP Qualified

This position has a weekly rotating shift pattern of 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm
