Warehouse Assistant

Overnight Parcel Department,

Swindon Office

Job Summary:

The position will include, but not be exclusive to, the following duties,
- completing effectively and efficiently all tasks and processes relating to the receipt of inbound Customer and Network consignments and to comply with all Swift and Network Policies and Protocols.
- effective and accurate sorting of all consignments to delivery routes, from cages that arrive on the trunk each morning
- effective and accurate unloading of vans, labelling if necessary and sorting into appropriate cages ready for loading on the trunk
- may be required to undertake customer collections/deliveries on occasion.

  • Ability to multitask
  • Have a 'Can-Do' attitude and be willing to go the extra step to achieve customer satisfaction
  • Must be a strong team player but also work well using their own initiative
  • Good communication skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail is a must
  • Forklift experience.

Hours of Work:

This is a split shift position am and pm with occasional Saturdays, paid as Overtime.

In return we offer a competitive salary (which can be negotiated based on experience). Full training and support in all aspects of the role will be provided.

Salary:
From £10.50 per hour
