Temporary for 6 months, part time, 21 hours per week.

We are looking for committed, enthusiastic, self-motivated people who are confident in verbal and written communication and have a high level of ICT skills, with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

You will be required to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines.

You should have experience of working in a busy office environment with a good understanding of office processes and procedures although experience is not essential, it is important that you have an understanding of financial procedures, audit and financial regulations, as dealing with finance, e.g.

petty cash and payments onto a system is part of the job role. Training will be provided.


Business Services provide administrative support to many areas across Children's and Young Peoples Services including, Social Care, Early Help, Children Centres, Education and Inclusion.

Although the majority of work is not front facing, it is interesting, varied and you will play a key role in making a difference to children and families.


Currently, a hybrid working model is in place which means a combination of home working and office base with an ability to work flexibly from different locations within Rotherham.

Rotherham offers a generous holiday entitlement; flexible working policy and you will be fully supported with regular supervisions with your Line Manager.
