Job Title Site Labourer

Location Unit Based in Brynmawr and traveling to across the UK

Hours of Work 37 hours per week

Salary Negotiable (£20,000.00 to £25,000.00 pa depending on experience)

Principal Job Purpose

Responsible to:
Operations Manager, Lead Driller and Engineering Geologists

Responsible for:

Carrying out day to day activities as arranged in the work calendar and as allocated by the lead driller.

Reporting of any issues encountered on site to the Lead Driller and Supervising Engineers

Principal Accountabilities

• Carrying out daily tasks from the work calendar as allocated and instructed by the Lead Driller, in order to manage company resources effectively and efficiently
• Following instructions on site from supervising Engineering Geologists and/or Clients

Responsible for allocated company equipment, including:

• Carrying out daily safety checks
• Cleaning
• Security

Responsible for allocated company vehicles, including:

• Carrying out daily safety checks
• Cleaning
• Security
• Operation of the companies drilling rig
• Transportation of water to site using company bowser
• Undertaking soakaway testing to BRE365 standards
• Carry out in-situ plate barring and CBR testing
• Undertake gas and groundwater monitoring
• Covering absence of the Lead Driller when required
• Travel and overnight stays
• Undertake any other duties that may be required
• Comply with the relevant sections of the company's policy statement on health, safety and welfare at work

Possession of a valid CSCS Card (or willingness to undertake course)
