McCarthy Stone are recruiting for an experienced
Domestic Team Leader to join our team at
Ameila Court in
Worthing. Built in 2009 and consisting of 65 apartments, Amelia Court encourages independent living for the over 60's.


This is a dual role where you will be doing some domestic shifts and also some Team Leader shifts so flexibility will be required to meet the needs of the development.


Hours: 25 hours per week


Shifts:
Domestic cover - Monday to Friday between 9.30am - 2.30pm


Rota based weekend cover for serving in our Dining Room on Saturdays or Sundays between 12.30pm - 2.30pm.

Relief Duty Manager to cover holidays and sickness of twilight 4pm - 9pm and Nights 9pm - 8am.

Hourly rates:
Domestic hours - £10.72 per hour


Relief Duty Manager hours - £12.56 per hour for day time hours and £10.36 per hour for night time shifts.

We are seeking a passionate Domestic Team Leader to exemplify the high-quality customer standards that we are renowned for.

This is a brilliant opportunity to support the management and smooth running of this thriving community of active and independent older people, so they get to live their best lives.

You will be responsible for the domestic support and housekeeping of our homeowner apartments, their laundry service and cleaning and the development's communal areas.

You will support in the Dining Room during service times. There are usually opportunities for overtime within nearby developments as well.


About you:


  • Experience in a customer care or service role within a similar environment
  • You will be a hardworking and motivated individual and keen to take on the responsibility of managing the security of the development, looking after the safety and wellbeing of the homeowners
  • Able to coordinate and facilitate activities that help strengthen the community spirit within the development.
  • Will lead by example and possess clear and confident communication skills
  • Have a friendly, approachable, patient and caring nature as well as excellent time keeping.
