Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high performing team to promote high quality adult care provision for people who draw on social care and support.
As a Contract Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that the care and support services that are delivered to vulnerable adults are safe, of a good quality and comply with all contractual terms.
A key part of your role will be to establish effective relationships with providers, so they understand the Council's expectation of high quality.
Through positive engagement at provider forums and collaboration you will act as a key conduit for liaison with practitioners, the Care Quality Commission and Safeguarding colleagues.
Based in the Strategic Commissioning Team you will be a key component in the Commissioning Cycle and provide intelligence to commissioners on issues associated with, sustainability, risk and forward planning and will input into provider service reviews to assess value for money.
You will be required to accurately record assessments of quality and compliance and support robust enforcement action when standards fall below the expected levels.
Working as a an individual and a valued team member, your work will include undertaking quality assurance assessments using digital systems and structured frameworks and you will hold a manageable portfolio of services.
Contract Compliance Officers follow a framework of pre-determined procedures and utilise the Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution (PAMMS) online tool to assess quality and escalate matters.
