We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Project Assistant for Dex Together, our new social and community initiative.
As a Project Assistant you will be responsible for supporting various administrative, creative, and technical tasks related to organising, developing, and coordinating Dex Together.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in project administration and community participation.Role Overview
As a Project Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in establishing and managing the daily functions of Dex Together.
Responsibilities include supporting the creation of Dex Together, managing daily operations, fostering relationships within the Dex community, and organising community-building events.
Flexibility is required for office and event work.Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development and implementation of Dex Together's vision and mission.
- Collaborate with the team to bring the initiative to life.
- Manage daytoday operations smoothly, addressing and resolving operational challenges as they arise.
- Build positive relationships with key stakeholders associated with Dex Together.
- Act as a point of contact for guardian inquiries and concerns.
- Develop engaging newsletters to keep guardians informed about Dex Together's activities and initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate community events, e.g., Christmas dinners.
- Establish partnerships with local charities for volunteer opportunities.
- Support the implementation of project activities and ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and solutionoriented mindset.
- Previous experience in community development or project coordination is a plus.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritise tasks amidst shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Desire for challenges, proactive networking, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Clean UK Driving Licence is a must
Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent
Salary:
£20,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 32 per week
