Key responsibilities

  • Supporting our Product Advisors, be responsible for regular customer contact from lead to Product Advisor appointment right through to delivery
  • Contact therapists to follow up quotes written by the sales team, inputting the results and any follow up into our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system
  • Contact families who are awaiting orders to discuss delivery arrangements and set up of specialist equipment
  • Qualify leads from website or exhibitions; make the first contact, understand customer requirements and know when to pass to a Product Advisor for follow up
  • Have input on any new processes to enhance Product Advisors' efficiencies
  • Contact customers who place high value orders to provide nextlevel customer service and understand their delivery requirements
  • Gain a functional understanding of the product and service range and be passionate about selling its benefits to our customers
  • Liaising between Product Advisors, Customer Support team, prescribing therapists, Community Equipment Stores and service users' families to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Be a champion of our CRM system within the sales team
  • Help the Business Development function to grow product sales in new markets; for example volume sales, online sales platforms etc
  • Make the first point of contact to potential new customers outside our traditional customer base

About you

  • You will be of graduate calibre or have equivalent workplace based experience
  • Experience in a similar role, working within a sales team or supporting the sales process would be advantageous but not essential as full training will be given
  • An organised and efficient worker
  • Experience of using a CRM system, or a willingness to learn
  • Empathy to the users of specialist equipment and a passion to provide them with first class customer service
  • Confident and friendly telephone manner
  • After initial training, be confident talking about company products and what makes the company a great business to purchase from
  • Good questioning skills to understand what our customers are looking for, and the ability to deliver solutions to these needs
  • Positive attitude and a passion for your work
  • Excellent communicator & problem solver
