We have a vacancy for a Commercial Vehicle Fitter based at our Guildford Workshop.

The successful applicant must have previous experience of working on heavy commercial vehicles, together with the ability to work well under pressure, be able to actively problem solve and possess good verbal communications skills.

Main duties will involve routine maintenance and repairs on heavy commercial vehicles involved in the Waste industry, in addition to diagnosing and rectifying all types of faults.

Hours are based on a three week rota as below or by negotiation:

Week 1:
Monday to Friday

Week 2:
Monday to Friday

Week 3:
Monday to Friday
Plus alternative Saturdays pm

Salary circa £20.80 per hour depending on age and experience plus overtime at time and a half (Annual Salary £57,062)) plus excellent benefits, which include Private Health Care, Life Cover and Pension.

Fully expensed van after 3 months probation
