Reporting to the Product Content Manager the Conference Producer ( internally known as Product Content Specialist) has responsibility for researching, developing and producing content for the RICS Knowledge and Competence products, working with and managing SMEs, and ensuring that the products meet the needs and requirements of our global stakeholders.

This role can be based in any of our UK offices - London, Birmingham or Edinburgh.


Key Achievements & Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed product research and market testing to ensure content is aligned with needs and requirements of our key stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust product validation based on indepth customer insight
  • Develop marketleading quality products demonstrating RICS expertise and influence in our core surveying service categories
  • Contract, brief and provide continuous support to SMEs speakers, trainers, writers throughout the development process
  • Work closely with the Product Development and Curriculum teams to ensure content reflects the developing needs and requirements of our customers and that there is a pipeline in place to deliver new and refreshed products reflecting the latest legislative developments and regulatory updates impacting the different surveying service categories
  • Collaborate with the Inmarket product leads to share best practice and ensure the products are adapted to be relevant for the global markets
  • Collaborate with the Product Delivery team to ensure quality products are being delivered in line with the agreed best practice
  • Working with the Value Propositions Specialist, provide indepth product briefings to strategic partnerships team, marketing and communications team and the sponsorship agency
  • Ensure goals are met with regard to key deadlines, customer satisfaction, product quality and product profitability across all K&C packages and as part of our PAYG campaigns
  • Occasional travel across UK and internationally

Experience Required

  • Production of high level and commercially attractive product content, probably from either a conferences or training background
  • Ability to spot new trends
  • 2+ years of conference production experience
  • Ability to work to multiple priorities and tight deadlines, remaining pragmatic and resultsfocused
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and experience within the land, property and built environment surveying areas desirable
  • Business development acumen, financially astute and commercially aware
  • Research and analytical skills
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues in a matrix environment and building relationships built on trust
  • Communication ability to articulate views on strategies and products and able to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Stakeholder relationship management
  • Culturally aware with the ability to operate effectively in a global role and work with teams from diverse cultural backgrounds and expertise
