Job Title:
Finance Assistant

Salary:
Up to £24,000

Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring a Financial Assistant for a fantastic business in Birmingham.

The company has a busy Finance team and this role would be ideal for someone who is looking to progress with a company.

Dealing with internal and external queries.
Making electronic payments over the phone or via corporate online banking.
Processing client statements and payments.
Client cheque posting and printing.
Ensuring SRA, SAR's, Lexcel, Law society and accounting requirements are met.

Skills Needed:

Experience within a similar role is critical.
Exceptional communication skills are necessary as communicating with clients and colleagues is a key part of the role.
An excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a high degree of numeracy and literacy are key.
Experience making CHAPS payments and knowledge of SAR (solicitors accounts rules) would be desirable.
Understanding of Barclays portal, online accounting software's, SOS connect as well as other custom software is beneficial.
