A new opportunity has become available for a motivated individual to join the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service as an Administrative Assistant on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The job will be varied, supporting the existing B3 Admin with administrative / clerical functions

This service provides specialist assessment and rehabilitation programmes to patients with cardiac issues across the East Riding.


Working alongside the admin team, you will be responsible for prioritising and performing a variety of clerical / administrative tasks including but not limited to, inputting audit data, answering the telephone, booking appointments, sending discharge letters, Systm1,etc.

Good admin support enables the clinicians to spend more time with their patients, therefore admin is an important function within the team.

The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative support to the East Riding Cardiac Rehab team and to provide clerical support within a health care setting.


The post holder will be flexible when managing workload and accommodating the requirements of teams, also ensuring adherence to guidelines, policies, and procedures.


The role will include some duties, supporting clinical team lead including diary management, minute taking, filing, data input for the National Audit of Cardiac Rehabilitation as well as some placement of oracle orders, room bookings, providing cover for other members of the team and undertaking day to day supervision of staff, demonstrating duties to new starters.

Support reception dealing with calls/taking messages and relaying in a timely manner, receiving visitors, reporting faults, mail handling.
