The Refugee Integration Service is here to provide practical and impactful support to refugees who are living in North East Lincolnshire through Home Office resettlement schemes, including Homes for Ukraine and Afghan resettlement.

_ Your Role_
The role of the Refugee Integration Service is to support and facilitate improved opportunities, meaningful participation, and co-delivery of support services for refugees, and delivery of the project's targets.
New refugees will receive a high quality, comprehensive, and a consistent move-on integration support service tailored to individual circumstances and need.
The Refugee Integration Officer will support the implementation and delivery of the North East Lincolnshire Councils Refugee Integration Service strategy, in line with Home Office schemes guidance and requirements, this also includes the joint work with our strategic migration partner, Migration Yorkshire.
The post holder will assist in the sustained establishment and maintenance of partnerships across the migrant and wider community, and VCSE sector.
The post holder will have a suitable qualification and/or proven experience of working with and supporting people or migrant communities.
Have the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with key external stakeholders and partners; including the development of new projects, creating new referral pathways, and supporting the development of emerging groups.
The role will also include working closely with internal partners to ensure efficient delivery of the service including, home options, housing, school admissions, children's services, adult social care and any other relevant teams.
The post holder will facilitate a smooth transition for people with refugee status, supporting to develop the knowledge and skills they need to integrate and thrive.
The post holder will enable a wide range of people to overcome the various practical, emotional and systemic barriers they face.
The post holder will need excellent communication skills both face to face and electronic, flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving needs and be able to deliver to fixed deadlines.
This will include being able to deliver clear, reliable, and transparent information on various topics, to ensure that people are able to make informed decisions.
Good team working skills are essential as you will be often operating remotely from the service, your manager and your colleagues.
The role will require the individual to work to the demand of the service which will cover various Home Office resettlement pathways.
This role will play an integral and essential part in making people feel welcome and supported in regaining, and establishing their independence.

We are looking for a highly motivated and driven individual who enjoys working with local communities and has a passion to make a difference in the work that they do.
You must have proven experience of working in a front line, client facing roles, have excellent communication skills, as well as empathy and compassion.
You will also have the ability to be adaptable to the needs of the people, understanding that everyone will require different levels of support, while being opened minded to the varied, cultures, beliefs and values.
We are also looking for someone who is able to work independently when required and have great team working skills to collaborate with other colleagues and internal departments.
