For this role you will be based at their Head Office supporting helping to support the finance function of the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation that is going through a rapid period of growth. For this position you will report to both Senior Finance Assistant & Senior Management Accountant. Key responsibility for this role is to provide support to the finance team and other departments where necessary. You need to have a good commercial and business understanding.Responsible for providing financial and administrative services including cash reconciliation
and reporting accounts receivable and payable.
Assist with monthly management accounts, accounts receivable and accounts payable
period close processes along with accurate posting of month-end information.
Assist with preparing VAT figures for multiple entities
Assist with year-end financial and other audits, preparing and maintaining supporting
schedule and disclosures.
Prepare ad hoc analysis as required.
Preparation of weekly payment runs. Management and reconciliation of weekly aging
reports
Assisting with payroll and employee expenses.
Skill set required
Have working knowledge of working within a finance department
Have a finance degree or be studying towards AAT.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Excellent Excel and analytical skills with a high degree of numeracy and attention to detail.
Knowledge of Xero preferred but not essential.
Experience in multicurrency and intercompany transactions.
Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
Experience
2 years' experience as finance Assistant
Good level of working with ERP
Good level of Microsoft skills (Excel)
