Overall Purpose of Job
- To provide professional administrative support to the Anti-social behaviour team ensuring a high level of accuracy and efficiency and to corporate standards.
- To support the back office and business functions of the Anti-social behaviour team, adapting to service needs and priorities as appropriate.
- To act as the first point of assessment for incoming complaints and service requests received by the Anti-social behaviour team.
The post holder reports to the ASB Coordinator (Team leader) and will be part of a team of ASB Investigators and Senior ASB Investigators.

- The post-holder has no line management or supervisory responsibilities.
- The post holder has no budget responsibilities.
- To work a flexible 36-hour week, sometimes including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays in order to meet service requirements.
Key Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Key tasks and accountabilities are intended to be a guide to the range and level of work expected of the post holder. This is not an exhaustive list of all tasks that may fall to the post holder and employees will be expected to carry out such other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time._
To undertake all responsibilities listed below:
- To be responsible for administrating and assessing reports of anti-social behaviour and nuisances, ensuring all reports are triaged in line with service policy and timeframes.
- To provide advice to other departments and residents on anti-social behaviour matters in consultation with officers.
- To take minutes in multi-agency meetings chaired by the ASB team.
- To make appropriate referrals to internal and external agencies to support the resolution of anti-social behaviour reports.
- To liaise with internal and external agencies to support the resolution of anti-social behaviour reports.
- To ensure that file records, case files and electronic information recording systems are kept in accordance with best practice, statutory and service requirements.
KNOWLEDGE:
- Educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent with a minimum grade C or 5 in English and Maths
- Awareness of antisocial behaviour legislation and statutory nuisances
- Awareness of the different agencies involved in tackling antisocial behaviour
- A clear understanding of the Council's HEART values and vision
EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of triaging and assessing reports/requests from members of the public, preferably within a local authority setting
