Production Accountant - Entertainment - London
A growing Production and Creative specialist are looking for Production Accountant to come on board on a permanent basis.

This Production Accountant will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance function working closely with production andthe wider finance team.


This is an exciting time to join the business as they enter a new phase of growth and development within the Finance function, they offer a vibrant fast paced environment and are looking for someone to come in and put their own stamp on this role.

They area sociable bunch with a great collaborative work approach.

They are looking for someone with a passion for the Media/Entertainment industry and a person who is ready to delve into a new challenge.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor for invoices to be allocated to multiple jobs and ensure timely producer approval and processing before closing the respective jobs
  • Closing adjustment journals
  • Update Sales Master log Biweekly pay run
  • Approve the Biweekly pay run
  • Process all payments in SAGE Reconciliations
  • Keep all bank accounts reconciled biweekly when approving BACS pay run
  • Assist Accounts Payable Accountant with credit card recons as required Quarterly VAT return
  • Ensure all invoices are processed and VAT correct when closing out the jobs that occurred within the quarter
  • Liaise with Accounts Payable Accountant and manage the reclaim process Accounting journals
  • Accruals, prepayments, dep etc Other
  • Creditors control to ensure timely receipt of sales invoices
  • Creating new jobs in SAGE
  • Carry out ad hoc duties as required

Skills:


  • Previous experience within Production Accounting is highly desirable
  • 4+ years experience working as part of a finance function
  • Studying towards a professional qualification would be beneficial but not essential
  • A background within Media/Entertainment is ideal
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment adhering to strict deadlines
  • Strong IT skills including MS Excel
  • A passion for Media/Entertainment/Fashion
