Description

Used for analysis and research predominantly within the earth and environmental sector, our client develops and manufactures state-of-the-art scientific instrumentation, requiring excellent attention to detail to assemble complex, high-precision equipment.

They are looking for a dedicated Mechanical or Electromechanical Fitter to join their growing team, assembling products from diagrams, including plumbing and wiring systems, and electrical fault finding.

Academic qualification or practical experience in electrical or mechanical assembly
Previous assembly experience within a workshop manufacturing environment
Ability to read and understand mechanical and/or electrical drawings (such as wiring diagrams and PCB schematics)
Strong time management with the ability to work unsupervised to defined deadlines
Strong communicator and team player
Excellent soldering skills (including complex highdensity connectors and surface mount devices) would be beneficial
