THE OPPORTUNITY

  • Deliver international secondments and transfers on a national, regional and international basis
  • Conduct secondee briefings for inbound and outbound moves
  • Co-Lead the IM related work for Trainee seat rotations each March and September;
  • Manage case load work and documents for international mobility tracking and reporting
  • Build relationships and credibility with key partners and staff
  • Assist with Partner moves.
  • Ensure that the firm is immigration and regulatory compliant in our international mobility cases, and advise HR colleagues on relevant practices and processes in respect to immigration
  • Manage international remote work requests in line with International Remote Working Policy, and in collaboration with Tax and Partner Finance team as required
  • Keep uptodate with legislative changes. Evaluate and communicate potential, changerelated impacts to the firm, and provide recommended solutions
  • Provide HR colleagues with the information needed to handle international mobility queries and coaching them to have quality and compliant conversations with their stakeholders
  • Provide proactive and commerciallyrelevant advice as necessary on all aspects of international mobility policy and process
  • Notifying relevant individuals of actions needed at key points during the lifecycle of a secondment.
  • Promote consistency of international mobility packages and ensure the firm's policies and procedures are applied in a fair and consistent manner
  • Work closely and collaborate with the international mobility team worldwide and teams that work with IM (Tax, Business Finance, Risk)
  • Assist with ad hoc mobility projects
  • Participate on regional and global IM calls and presentations

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience as an International Mobility specialist
  • Knowledge of international mobility processes including, but not limited to, experience with immigration/visa requirement and providing relocation advice
  • General knowledge of Expat Tax related issues and topics for the international mobility population
  • Strong internal client service focus and client relationship management skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across all levels of the firm both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and proven experience in undertaking activities that contribute to meeting the firm's strategic objectives
  • Experienced advisory, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Experience of supplier management and sourcing
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to understand new concepts quickly and put learning into action
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to cope with change
