A Food Manufacturing company are looking for an experienced Planner to join their fast-paced dynamic team.

As a Planner you will be responsible for maintaining the correct level of products and produce for production for customer orders.

You will have experienceworking in a Planning role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

As a Planner your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of.

  • Create and maintain processing plans to ensure that factory demand is met daily and ensuring that plans are kept up to date with the latest information.
  • Communicate daily and weekly plans to those the relevant individuals within the supply chain.
  • Manage plans over several weeks to be able to successfully forecast business needs.
  • Assist management through capacity monitoring and purchases from 3 rd parties.
  • Communicate to our suppliers and liaise with 3rd party companies to buy or sell the most costeffective stock within the market.
  • Monitor performance and to highlight to the management team any anomalies or significant drops in performance.
  • Develop strong working relationships with partners and suppliers across the division.
  • Assist in the development of planning systems in support of the companies planning process.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics which demonstrate strong understanding and control over plan performance.
  • Record all relevant documentation accurately and on time.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out within company and legislative health and safety and environmental guidelines reporting any issues.
An exciting opportunity for a Planner with the following.

  • Previous experience in a demand/supply or factory planning role.
  • Understanding of supply chain and demand planning.
  • Structured, organised, and punctual with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Capable of organising and delivering change projects.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office Packages.
  • Experience working within a fastpaced FMCG or Food manufacturing environment.
