Building Surveyor - Social Housing Planned Works

North London

Full-Time, Permanent

Salary:
£40-45k + milage


Here at Howells we are working with a leading public sector housing group to recruit a Planned Works Surveyor to join their team in North London.

This is a full time, permanent position.


You will be responsible for a variety of planned maintenance programmes, managing both DLO staff and sub-contractors delivering a number of internal and external refurbishment works.


Experience / Skills required:

  • Understanding of Natfed 7.1 SOR codes
  • Planning the work from inspection to completion
  • Inspections internally and externally on sites
  • Understanding basic build regs
  • Good IT experience
  • Good communication with the team, supply chains, residents and leaseholders
  • Team player
  • Ownership of work
  • Site H&S knowledge
  • Recognised building surveying qualification

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • North London,

Greater London:
reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
