We are looking for an ambitious and effective Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the receiving, inventory, warehousing and distribution operations. You will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running safely, smoothly and promptly.
This role will involve a management of a small team of 8 employees.It's a nice family culture here and wedo fun things like BBQ get together, soon we are all having a Christmas party, we are looking for someone with similar values and ambitions and great management style.

Responsibilities
- Strategically supervise the warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
- Ensure efficient space utilisation, consolidation and storage
- Support the initialisation and enforce operational policies and procedures
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
- Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
- Support and initiate stock control and PI counts
- Identify key improvements and support with the implementation.
- Plan daily workloads, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
- Support in the Recruitment selection
- Coach and motivate employees
- Produce reports and make data driven decisions
- Receive feedback and monitor the quality of service provided
- Communicate with other departments
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team leader
- Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices
- H&S IOSH Preferred
- Continual Improvement
- Proven ability to implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
- Leadership skills and ability to effectively manage staff
- Strong decision making and problemsolving skills
- Excellent communication skills
