Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday 8:30am -5pm Friday 8:30am -4pm

Salary:
£28,000 -£30,000K
We are looking for an ambitious and effective Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the receiving, inventory, warehousing and distribution operations. You will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running safely, smoothly and promptly.

This role will involve a management of a small team of 8 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically supervise the warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
  • Ensure efficient space utilisation, consolidation and storage
  • Support the initialisation and enforce operational policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements
  • Maintain high standards of health and safety, hygiene and security
  • Support and initiate stock control and PI counts
  • Identify key improvements and support with the implementation.
  • Plan daily workloads, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results
  • Support in the Recruitment selection
  • Coach and motivate employees
  • Produce reports and make data driven decisions
  • Receive feedback and monitor the quality of service provided
  • Communicate with other departments

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team leader
  • Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices
  • H&S IOSH Preferred
  • Continual Improvement
  • Proven ability to implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
  • Leadership skills and ability to effectively manage staff
  • Strong decision making and problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
