A family of 52 educational institutions serving over 28,000 students from a variety of backgrounds, our academies seek to close the educational gap that exists between disadvantaged students andtheir more privileged counterparts.

Our Community Hubs are integral to making this change.

We are currently looking for a Community Hub Leader to lead and develop our Oasis Hub, Ashburton Park on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role
As a Community Hub Leader, you will lead the development of the Oasis Hub, Ashburton Park.

Working with our academies and the wider local community, you will deliver our vision of an integrated community and comprehensive services.

These include family support, holiday provision, volunteering, youth mentoring, employability and NEET prevention.

Seeking to grow our community movement, you will plan and co-ordinate the Community Hub plan, building partnerships and leading strategic development.

You will also build and develop the Hub team, engaging with staff, volunteers and community workers and drivingour ethos.

This is an exciting chance to utilise your entrepreneurial flair to develop the Hub and play a vital role in the next phase of its development.


About You
To be considered as a Community Hub Leader, you will need:

  • Experience leading community delivery and growing projects from start-up phase
  • Experience working with young people
  • The ability to innovatively use resources and budget management to maximise funding
  • Knowledge and understanding of community work and its potential for raising standards
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g. degree level or equivalent) or equivalent experience
