Description
You will be a part of delivering a first-class Metering & Settlement Service to our Internal and External Customers.


You will support the metering & settlement requirements of the business driven by the existing and future customer base, handling installation and maintenance metering requests for Advanced, Smart Meter and Half Hourly meters as required.


How will I spend my time in this role?

  • Support the execution of all metering & settlement operational processes, ensuring all stakeholder needs are addressed whilst adhering to appropriate regulations and governance;
  • Provide best practice expertise to the metering fault resolution process whilst maintaining focus on the customer experience and impacts to SELs Settlement performance;
  • Install, commission and maintain Smart Meter Devices in line with the needs of the business and the smart energy code;
  • Support and/or take ownership of customers metering projects, working closely with customers and third parties to ensure the metering upgrades and rollouts are completed within the required specifications & timescales;
  • Proactively work and clear all designated Metering and Settlement related Dataflows and Worklists within agree KPI's;
  • Support data analysis to identify trends or anomalies and their root causes;
  • Suggest remedial actions or perform data cleanse as agreed with stakeholders;
  • Maintain effective network with internal teams, industry stakeholders and customers whilst building relationships and ensuring work in completed within agreed SLA's;
  • Support customer, internal and regulatory metering reporting as and when required.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • You will need to be driven to support robust Metering & Settlement processes with an underlying principle of delivering a high level of customer satisfaction;
  • Experience working as part of a team to delivery against targets;
  • Knowledge of the UK Energy Industry.
