Description

Our client is looking for experienced Care Assistants to work in the Morton Area of Gainsborough to start work immediately.

They provide a long term residential care setting that can accommodate 20 residents with various illnesses associated with Old Age.

You will be required to work alongside the established team of Carers who specialise in Dementia, Learning Disability, Mental Health Condition, Old Age, Physical Disability and Sensory Impairment.

All our Care Assistants must have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care and all mandatory training must be up to date, especially Moving and Handling with Hoist Training.

You will be assisting in the resident's activities of daily living, including aspects of personal care. You will be expected to work on a one to one basis with some residents at times.

You must have an awareness and passion to work people with Dementia Related Illnesses and the Elderly and be prepared to hit the ground running.

You will be required to follow individual care plans and complete paperwork and reporting any problems to the senior members of staff.

Experience & Qualifications:

NVQ LVL 2 as a minimum, or time served with checkable work history
Up to date Mandatory training documents in Safeguarding, Infection control, Moving & Handling and Hoist Training as a bare minimum.
Up to date DBS/ CRB check for adult services, preferably on the update service but not essential.
