Our client is looking for an experienced Licensing Officer.

The Licensing team is responsible for the issuing of approximately 27 different types of licences, certificates, notices, permits, consents and registrations across the eight licensing functions.

The work is very high profile linking with many working partnerships such as local Community & Business Groups and organisations, Government departments, the Police, local authority departments, Fire & Rescue Service, and Public Health.

The service is funded through income generated by set service fees and charges and the size of the team is dependent on the predicted service demand.

Key Skills:

You will have relevant practical experience of licensing enforcement backed by evidence of appropriate specialist knowledge of licensing related issues.

You will have evidence of appropriate specialist knowledge including problem-solving methodology and relevant practical experience.

You will have well developed interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and engage successfully with community groups and partner organisations.
