ROLE SUMMARY:

Right To Play (RTP) is seeking a
Global Partnerships Officer who will coordinate the grant and project management

of four projects funded by the LEGO Foundation and other philanthropic foundations.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Partnerships and working in close cooperation with the wider Global

Partnerships team, Global Program Unit, Program Finance, and multiple Country Offices, this role requires a high

level of collaboration and coordination. The role may be required to travel internationally up to 10% of the time.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:


#1:
Grant Management and Donor Compliance (80% of time)

-
Grant management: Lead on the grant management of one education project and support the overall

grant management for LEGO Foundation funded projects delivered by RTP, working in close collaboration
with the Global Program Development team, the Program Finance team, and various Country Office
teams.

Project coordination: Provide project management for four projects funded by the LEGO Foundation and

other philanthropic foundations working in collaboration with the Global Program Partnerships team,
Global Program Development team, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) team, Global Program
Finance, and various Country Office teams.

Portfolio support:Support the Senior Manager, Global Partnerships with key reporting and compliance

processes related to the LEGO Foundation portfolio, working in close collaboration with the Global
Program Development, Global Program Finance, and various Country Office teams.

This includes:

  • Support global and country teams; ensure roles and responsibilities are clear; promote teamwork; lead
playful team engagements.

  • Lead multifunctional project teams to achieve successful compliance with donor agreements across the
LEGO Foundation portfolio. This includes leading on the development and facilitation of donor compliance
trainings, provision of direct and indirect support to Country Office and Global Office staff.

  • Lead on project management and planning initiatives (semiannual and annual reporting, annual work
planning, risk assessment and mitigation plans, program finance and budget monitoring, grant
monitoring, and grant agreement management).

  • Coordinate Project Steering Committee meetings for projects in the LEGO Foundation portfolio.
  • Coordinate program planning and implementation oversight for projects in the portfolio in collaboration
with Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL), Program Finance, and the Global Program Development
teams.

  • Support the coordination and development of program and project communication/stewardship
materials. Communicate and document project successes and lessons learnt and share externally and
internally.

  • Monitor and control project risks.
